Policies
Returns & Dispute Policy
Applies to all buyers and suppliers using e-Age World.
Sold as described, by lot
Liquidation, clearance and customer-return lots are sold as-is by lot. Individual unit failures within the expected range for the stated condition grade are not grounds for return.
When a dispute is valid
A dispute may be raised where the goods received materially differ from the listing: wrong category, materially lower quantity, or a condition grade clearly not matching what was described and photographed.
Evidence and timeline
Raise disputes within the window stated on the lot page, and in any case within 48 hours of delivery. Provide unedited photographs or video of the packaging on arrival, the manifest, and the affected units with counts.
Resolution
Valid disputes are resolved by partial credit, replacement stock where available, or a refund of the affected portion. The remedy depends on the seller terms for that lot and is agreed in writing.
Not covered
Shortfalls within the stated tolerance for unmanifested bales, cosmetic marks consistent with the condition grade, expiry dates disclosed in the manifest, resale performance, and damage occurring after handover.
Warranty claims
Where a lot carries a seller warranty, claims follow the process stated on that lot page. Warranty is not implied for lots described as sold without warranty.
Escalation
If a resolution is not agreed, either party may escalate to our sourcing desk for a documented review. Unresolved matters remain subject to the jurisdiction stated in our Terms of Use.
